Society for Participatory Integrated Development (SPID) is an Indian Non-Governmental Organization, working for the betterment of the marginalized people for their overall development and bringing a sustainable change in the society. Since, more than 15 years, we have been partnering with central and state government, national and international donors, non-governmental organizations and local communities to strengthen the capacity of deprived women, children and youths to improve their health, education and protection. In 2004 a group of young and like-minded people joined hands and formed SPID with the goal to serve the needy. Since then, SPID has been working in the under-developed rural and urban areas. We aim at strengthening local governance that give the marginalized and poor communities irrespective of their caste, creed and religion, a voice and influence national policy.
